About the Gardens

Over the past several years, SKCP has worked to strengthen and revitalize the community and private gardens within our borders, while ensuring that the garden spaces and programs are inclusive of, and benefit, all neighbors. SKCP currently supports several gardens in the South Kensington neighborhood:

Tillmon Community Garden

Tillmon Community Garden was originally created as part of WCRP's Tillmon Houses, low-income housing for women and their families. The garden has a core group of committed volunteers, and holds regular work days for members of the community. Recently, they've made great additions to the garden like an eco-friendly pallet wall!
