SKCP is active in the neighborhood's physical and social landscape. We advocate for development that benefits all  of our neighbors and builds on the economic, social, and physical fabric of our neighborhood.

SKCP works closely with city planners and community members to ensure and protect the future of the neighborhood. We work to improve the quality of life for our neighbors, protect their rights as homeowners, residents, and cultural stewards, and foster active neighbor involvement in shaping the environment of the neighborhood.

The Zoning Committee facilitates the discussion and review of zoning variance requests. All applications within the SKCP Service Area are voted on by the community at Community Zoning Meetings. The results are then presented to the Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA) with a goal of giving a voice to resident concerns and hopes for the neighborhood and its development.
