South Kensington Community Partners
During the holiday season, SKCP originally shared a brochure created by our friends at the 26th Police District to promote automobile security best practices, titled "Stow It, Don't Show It."
We're updating this post to include a video recently shared with SKCP (see below) which demonstrates WHY you should read this brochure and apply the recommendations within.

Automobile theft continues to remain one of the top types of crime in the area and is largely preventable should you incorporate a few common sense best practices to your daily routine.

Warehouse Specialist
Carries out general maintenance and labor duties, related to warehouse functions, as specified by supervisor(s). Primary responsibility will be to stay “in house”. All of these job duties should meet the Physical Limitations of the employee provided by his physician. It is the employees responsibility to report any duties that exceed his physical limitations to his supervisor prior to performing those duties.

Driver
The Driver carries out general labor, assembly, and maintenance duties to assist and contribute to the assembly, delivery and production of office furniture for clients. Interaction in a professional manor with clients, warehousing, and office personnel for information pertaining to job completion. Specializes in utilization of maps and local roadways.

Apply to Become a Candidate for our Neighborhood Advisory Sub-Committee
South Kensington Community Partners
South Kensington Community Partners (SKCP) invites YOU, our passionate and engaged residents, to take on a leadership role in our incredibly diverse community by joining the South Kensington Neighborhood Advisory Sub-Committee (NAS).
The primary roles of the NAS are that of community ambassador and neighborhood liaison, connecting residents with city services and serving as a representative voice for the neighborhood.
The NAS hosts quarterly public service briefings, organizes community meetings, coordinates community clean ups and takes a leadership role in many other neighborhood initiatives.
DETAILS:
- All NAS members must live within the NAS service area: Front Street to 6th Street, between Girard Avenue and Dauphin, or 6th Street to Broad Street, from Green Street to Girard.
- NAS members serve two-year terms beginning February 2017
- NAS members participate in 10 monthly meetings each calendar year.
- Applications are due Monday, January 9th
